2014, A New Year, and a New Format!

January 1st 2014, What could the next best deck be?

With the new banlist, and the limit of all the Big Dragon Rulers, the deck has become more or less dead.
Now it's time for some new decks to rise and become the best."
At the side of our blog we have a poll and we want you to choose what you think will be the best deck of this format.
We have a choice of, Fire Fist, Fire King, Mermail, Bujin, Geargia, Madolche, Evilswarm, Constellar, Dragon Variants, Infernity, Prophecy, Gravekeeper, Lightsworn or Other!
So choose now!

Fire Fist
Last format Fire Fists were one of the best decks behind Dragon Rulers. Now that the new format is bringing their recruiter, "Fire Formation Tenki", back up to three could Fire Fists dominate the new meta?
There are a few variants of the Fire Fist deck. First off there's 4 Axis Fire fists. This variant is the most popular of the three and centers on level 4 monsters and rank 4 XYZ plays." The deck's other variants are 3 Axis variant which the deck focuses on Rank 3's and synchros, which people aren't using anymore as to the limit of "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Spirit". A lot of people liked the 3 Axis build so now a new deck is made which is the 3.5 build meaning the deck focus on both the level 4 and level 3 monsters.
Will any of these variants be good enough?

Fire Kings
The deck focuses on destroying its own cards to use their cards effects, and the deck does it without losing card advantage. The deck has its own monster nuke, "Fire King High Avatar Garunix", which has high attack and which is easily searchable and summonable by "Fire King Barong" and "Fire King Yaksha". Both of these are level 4, FIRE, Beast-Warrior and have 200 def, which means they get a lot of support. They can use "Flamvell Dog", "Rekindling", "Fire Formation - Tenki", "Blaster Dragon Ruler of Infernos" and "Coach Soldier Wolfbark". The deck has 2 Spells which both summon a FIRE monsters from the deck and at the same time destroy to set of your monsters effects!

Mermail
The deck has been hit before, when "Atlantean Dragoons" went to 1 and then now "Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls" has gone to 1. But the deck still works well. The deck works on discard of your water monsters for your Mermail effects and becuse of this Atlantean effects activates to clear off your opponents field. Mermails also have effects which can add Abyss spell and trap cards, well luckily for them they have 1 really powerful one, "Abyss-Sphere" which summons any Mermail monster from your deck. The deck uses a lot of monsters and little Spells and Traps, which seems like a bad idea, but in a deck like this, you need a lot of water monsters in your hand to pull of your Mermail effects while gaining back advantage from your Atlantean effects, and being able to put out loads of big monsters.

Bujin
"Bujin Yamato". That can pretty much sum up the whole deck. He can win a whole duel on his own. His effect lets you search a Bujin and then send one from your hand to the Graveyard. Meaning you could add "Bujin Crane" and then send "Bujin Turtle" to the graveyard. Now it will be hard for your opponent to destroy it in battle, or even get rid of it by a card effect. The deck is Beast-Warrior and LIGHT meaning it gets a lot of good support such as their own recruiter "Fire Formation - Tenki" and different good Xyz which need LIGHT monsters. The decks Xyz "Bujintei Susanowo" is like "Bujin Yamato" but even bigger and better.
The deck can play out like a Stun deck, and control the field.

Geargia
This deck is pretty much the better Karakuri's. The deck can spam out monsters so fast in 1 turn, and otk. the deck does take a Geargiarmor to be set  and to be survived until the next turn, but if that happens, the deck can just summon spam out the Karakuri synchros, summoning out more tuners for loads of monsters to be summoned. The deck focuses mainly on the Geargiarmor flip which is easily setup by Geargiarsenal. The deck can also do other plays, including using a powerful trap called Geargiagear which can pull you Xyz which can setup your combos. Karakuri Burei means more pluses with your Geargiarmor after flipping it on your turn, getting your search, using its effect to flip it back down and then getting to flip it back up for another search, adding cards such as Geargiaccelerator.
The deck can easily otk, but will that be enough?

Madolche
Madolche are a deck that haven't seen much play, but are a deck that are rising. They are getting more support and as other decks are getting hit, this deck is getting a bigger chance at topping. The deck has a good recycling engine where instead of them being destroyed they get returned to the deck, by having their field spell on the field these get returned to your hand, or if you have "Madolche Ticket" on the field you get a free search you can add a Madolche monster from your deck to your hand and if you control a Fairy monster you even get to summon it. The deck has many good cards, such as "Madolche Angelly" which you can tribute to summon...any, and yes any Madolche monster from your deck.
The deck has potential to spam out monsters, and be easily recycled for many different plays.

Evilswarm
Evilswarm have been underrated by some people, and probably overrated by others. But this format seem like a good one for them. They have everything they need to be a good deck right now. "Evilswarm Ophion" has the ability to shut down any deck which focuses on Synchros and higher level monsters. It also can search the decks best Spell. The deck has its own "Change of Heart" which is "Evilswarm Bahamut", wich has a small cost which means you can steal any annoying monster. Evilswarm Kerykeion means that the deck can just get free rank 4's with the cost of you summoning 1 monster.
The deck has the speed, and can summon out rank 4's pretty easily, the deck being DARK makes it even better as they have more support such as "Key Master Beetle" which can protect your Ophion or your continuous traps especially on ones you side in meaning your opponent will be in trouble.

Constellar
The deck can easily search out the monsters it needs with "Constellar Sheratan" and with "Fire Formation - Tenki" it can search out "Constellar Kaus" which can choose between you being able to summon a rank 3, 4 or 5. "Constellar Algiedi" and "Constellar Sombre" are able to summon out your Xyz without much of a cost! The deck being LIGHT means they have access to Synchros that other decks wouldn't have. Their own synchros are also good with "Constellar Ptolemy M7" coming back from 1 to 3, all Constellars are gaining this format is a boost. "Constellar Pleiades" is another good Xyz which can be used during your opponent's turn which mostly means getting rid of it with monsters won't be that easy!

Dragon Variants
Dragon Ruler were pretty much the only deck hit on the list, and the only real deck which deserved to be hit and be banished for ever. The limit of the big dragons, ment the deck suffered real hard. But new Dragon variants for the format are popping up such as one which uses "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to mill their cards and then set up big monsters on board, while others are trying out Hieratic decks again.
Can Dragons still  be competitive even after another big hit?
Will someone be able to come up with a new way to run the deck?

Infernity
Remember when the deck had 3 "Infernity Launcher" and it could pretty much summon out 3 "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" and manipulate their deck winning the duel. Well after the Infernity Launch hit to 1 the deck hadn't seen much play. Until now when the deck has many different Xyz to choose from. The deck has mainly changed from Synchros to Xyz as the deck has powerful combos with cards such as "Lavalval Chain" and "Diamond Dire Wolf". The deck also has "Infernity Barrier" which can negate a lot of stuff letting the deck play through and to otk your opponent. The decks main focus is the use of  "Infernity Archfiend" an "Infernity Necromancer" to possibly loop and gain lots of advantage and monsters.

Prophecy
The deck took a massive hit by having "Spellbook Judgment" banned meaning the deck couldn't get a +4 search every turn anymore. But the deck was still able to function but at a slower rate. The deck took another hit this format by having "Spellbook of Fate" limited, which in fact did pretty much nothing to the deck. The deck has a lot of powerful spells, which can get search your deck for anything, get rid of many problem cards and protect your Spellcasters from being destroyed. The best thing is the deck can re cycle all of these cards so if your opponent gets rid of them it won't be for good as you really won't run out of the Spells you need.

Gravekeeper
Gravekeepers before focused on gaining that advantage from the "Royal Tribute" by getting rid of all your opponents monsters in hand turn 1. But with it being limited people didn't see much use for the deck until the new support came out. "Gravekeeper's Disciple" can now give you an instant "Gravekeeper's Spy" set meaning on your turn you'll be able to summon out more stuff, to take control and gain advantage from "Gravekeeper's Descendant" and "Gravekeeper's Recruiter". The deck also gained really, really powerful trap, "Imperial Tombs of Necrovalley", which can pretty much negate anything when to its conditions are pretty easy to acquire in the deck.
The deck has Necrovalley, their field spell, which can shut down decks right now, and it also makes the decks "Gravekeeper's" pretty strong beaters.

Lightsworn
The deck is gaining new support, including "Felice, Lightsworn Archer", "Raiden, Lightsworn Assailant" and "Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden" which is already Lightsworns players favourite to use in the deck! The deck also has a card. The deck has strong plays and easy ways to search your big Dragons such as "Judgment Dragon",  all you have to do is to mill "Eclipse Wyvern" and then banish it from cards such as "Lightray Diabolos" and the Big Dragons to easily put a lot of big beaters on board.
The deck is able to get rid of any problem cards, clear your opponents backrow and otk for game.

Other
Most of the popular decks have been covered but there are still other decks that have a chance to top such as Blackwings, Harpies and even Zombies. If you vote for this section it would be nice if you could comment on which particular deck you are voting for?
