Fire Kings are a favorite of mine. The Archetype's boss is literally the embodyment of the phoenix, with the Avatars having their own take on that, with regards as to what happens when destroyed via card effect. So as such, Fire Kings have a sort of reckless aura about them and promote shenanigans around that.

The main goal of the deck, of course, is to trigger and set-off "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" as a means of blowing up the opponent's field and also triggering the effects of your various Fire King Avatars as a result. This ensures you having control over the field, as the opponent is unlikely to have any monsters stopping you, seeing as how the deck basically has at least 15 copies of "Dark Hole". Add to it, because you are triggering your Avatars, you also get the benefit of whatever they have going for them as well.

"Fire King High Avatar Garunix" being the centerpiece of the Deck by itself is outright scary. "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" comes back to the field and also destroys all other monsters, if it's ever destroyed by a card effect. OR it just outright Summons another Fire King, if it's going to be destroyed by battle. So either way, you are going to get something out of it upon its death. Add to it, its 2700 ATK makes it quite formidable, when it's not acting as a "Dark Hole".

FireKingAvatarBarong-SDOK-EN-C-1E
"Fire King Avatar Barong" and "Fire King Avatar Yaksha" do most of, if not, all the work here. "Fire King Avatar Barong" is your searcher, and only triggers when destroyed via effect; We have plenty of that here. "Fire King Avatar Yaksha", when destroyed by battle/effect, lets you destroy a card you control OR in your hand. This, of course, is crucial to the deck, as "Fire King Avatar Yaksha" can trigger "Fire King Avatar Barong" to enable a search, or outright trigger a "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" in your hand, to set up a field nuke. On top of this, both of them are FIRE Beast-Warriors with 200 DEF; This makes both "Fire Formation - Tenki" and "Rekindling" live here, as a means of enabling you to easily obtain them.

"Fire King Avatar Garunix"; This card is a favorite of mine, among the Archetype. It's an oddity, in the sense that it doesn't trigger when you destroy it, but triggers regardless of how the opponent destroys it. This, in turn, lets you search for another Avatar; Typically "Fire King Avatar Barong" or "Fire King Yaksha", as yet another layer of searching. Add to it, because "Fire King Avatar Garunix" shares the same self-Summoning effects that "Fire King Avatar Barong" and "Fire King Avatar Yaksha" have, you can easily drop it on the opponent's field for a sudden floater, on the off chance you destroy something you control via effect during their turn.

OnslaughtoftheFireKings-SDOK-EN-SR-1E"Onslaught of the Fire Kings" is really the main card of the deck, as to why it works. The fact this card instantly makes "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" live is bananas. Coupled with the fact it's searchable by "Fire King Avatar Barong", and can make Rank 4s with the other Avatars(Provided you Summon one with it), it has a lot going for itself here, considering all it's doing is just acting as a combo enabler.

"Circle of the Fire Kings" by itself is outright amazing. This card leads into so many silly plays it's not even funny. You can set off "Fire King High Avatar Garunix"; Swap it for "Fire King Avatar Barong". You can set off "Fire King Avatar Yaksha"; Swap it with "Coach Soldier Wolfbark", etc, etc, the possibilities are really up to however you see fit. I play this in 3s here because it's basically a "Forbidden Lance", or at least, as far as Fire Kings go, in the sense that it lets them dodge things like "Bottomless Trap Hole", "Compulsory Evacuation Device", etc, while also setting off the various effects they have. This is why I'm also playing "Generation Shift", since in Fire Kings, is basically a weird "Circle of the Fire Kings".

"Rekindling" and "Coach Soldier Wolfbark", typically would require their own builds of Fire Kings, since the former would need more 200 DEF FIREs, and the later would make it out to be more of an Xyz-spam engine with the ability to go from one "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Tiger King" into another. But seeing as how both of them are now Limited, you can effectively have the best of both worlds without having to go the extra mile and make the deck purely dedicated to some gimmick around either of the mentioned cards.

"Fire Formation - Tenki" and "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist Bear" are really obvious choices here, seeing as how "Coach Soldier Wolfbark", "Fire King Avatar Barong", and "Fire King Avatar Yaksha" are all Beast-Warriors. "Fire Formation - Tenki" is an automatic 3 here, since it grabs everything you need. I play 2 "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist Bear" here; Typically you only need 1, but I've always liked the idea of running at least 2, as a means of having more "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear" shenanigans, and this also gives you a backup on the off chance one is hit by Fiendish Chain/Bottomless/etc/etc.

CalloftheHaunted-SDCR-EN-C-1E"Supply Unit"; With the addition of this card, it literally becomes a draw engine for you. Right off the bat, you can easily trigger it, to which, it outright replaces itself and has already become a +0. Now because your playing Fire Kings, and can destroy your own cards on the fly, you can just net more and more draws, to which, "Supply Unit" then becomes a plus machine. Gets even crazier if you just-so-happen to have multiples in play, as you just rake in advantage.

"Call of the Haunted" is a 3 at all times with Fire Kings. No exceptions. It is basically a "Monster Reborn", but is slower, and ties itself to the monster. The later reason, is why it's so prominent here, because it also acts as ideal bait for backrow removal, since you can just chain it to things like "Mystical Space Typhoon" and trigger your Fire King monsters. And on the off chance it's not doing that, you can just revive things such as "Coach Soldier Wolfbark" or "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear"  to give yourself more field presence and just overall puts more monsters on the board for you.

I'm playing "Forbidden Lance" in 3s for a reason: "Forbidden Lance" is a good card, yes, and you only really need 2. In this deck, I'm making an exception, since Lance offers a great deal of protection, to help keep "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" on the field. "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" only real flaw is being removed from the field, EXCEPT by destruction. "Forbidden Lance" lets "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" be immune to things like "Bottomless Trap Hole" and "Dimensional Prison", and because I have this in 3s, as well as 3 Rings and 2 "Generation Shift", it just adds many layers of protection to an already obnoxious boss monster.

As for "Reckless Greed", it's honestly such a cool card in this deck. Between your searching and your drawing with "Supply Unit", I'm playing "Reckless Greed" because it adds more speed, to an already crazy deck. Add to it, BECAUSE you are always searching/drawing with the previously mentioned cards, "Reckless Greed" drawback doesn't even hinder you at all, even if you don't always use it with another copy of itself.
